Your project: let Python do Monday morning

Every Monday someone opens 35 Excel files, copies them into one sheet, fixes the dates, builds a summary and emails it. It takes three hours and goes wrong when they are tired. In this course you write three small Python scripts with an AI assistant, test them safely, and schedule them to run by themselves.

Meet Al-Zawraa Pharmacies

Al-Zawraa Pharmacies is an example chain with five branches in Baghdad: Karrada, Mansour, Adhamiya, Zayouna and Jadriya. Each branch saves a daily sales file. Zainab in the head office prepares the weekly report for the owner. Her Downloads folder holds 600 files with names like scan0004.pdf.

What is a script?

A script is a text file of instructions. Python reads it top to bottom and does each step.
Scripts are perfect for work that is the same every time: the same folders, the same columns, the same report.
You do not need to memorise Python. You need to describe the job clearly, read what the AI wrote, test it on copies and know what to do when it fails.
